Our R&D-Driven Philosophy
We are fundamentally an R&D-driven manufacturer, not merely a marketing entity. Our core philosophy is to reject the "one-size-fits-all" approach that has dominated the agro-input market.
Our strategy is rooted in developing products based on the specific diversity and needs of different soil types. A central tenet of our R&D is the focus on isolating, characterizing, and developing microbial strains that are naturally adapted to Indian soil and climatic conditions. This local adaptation is critical, as it dramatically increases the survival, colonization, and in-field efficacy of the microbes.

Our vision for FERTIVIO is deeply personal, rooted in our shared history as proud alumni of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). We are not just building a company; we are returning to our roots to build a legacy, leveraging our international training and local understanding to create meaningful change.
Dr. Ruturaj
Scientific Architect (R&D, International Collaborations)
Dr. Ruturaj is the scientific architect of FERTIVIO. After his Bachelor's in Biotechnology at OUAT, he qualified for the prestigious IIT JAM and pursued an Integrated PhD at IISER, Kolkata. His passion for cutting-edge research led him to his current role as a postdoctoral scientist at the Max Planck Institute (MPI-CBG) in Germany. Dr. Ruturaj spearheads our R&D, product development, and international collaborations.
Pruthwiraj
Managing Director (Operations, Entrepreneurial Leadership)
Pruthwiraj provides the entrepreneurial drive. He completed his Bachelor's in Microbiology at OUAT, followed by a Master's from KIIT University. His career blends academic research (including a role at IISER Kolkata) and hands-on startup experience at the KIIT Technology Business Incubator (TBI). As Managing Director, Pruthwiraj is the driving force behind the company's establishment, logistics, and day-to-day operations.
